FREDERICTON (GNB) – Volume I of the 2021 report of the auditor general will be released at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7.

At that time, copies of the report will be available online at the Auditor General of New Brunswick website.

Volume I contains:

  • Chapter 1 – Key Messages from the Acting Auditor General
  • Chapter 2 – Funding for Rural Internet – Regional Development Corporation and Opportunities New Brunswick
  • Chapter 3 – Covid-19 Funding – New Brunswick Worker’s Emergency Income Benefit – Department of Post-Secondary Education, Training and Labour
  • Chapter 4 – Risks Exist in Government’s Oversight of Crown Agencies – Executive Council Office

In addition to the report, a PowerPoint presentation, news releases and one-page summaries for select chapters will be on the auditor general’s website.
