FREDERICTON (GNB) – Volume I of the 2018 report of the auditor general will be released at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12.

At that time, copies of the report will be available at the council chamber of the legislative assembly as well as online at the Auditor General of New Brunswick website.

Volume I contains:

Chapter 1 – Introductory Comments by the Auditor General

Chapter 2 – WorkSafeNB – Phase I – Governance

Chapter 3 – Departments of Health and Justice and Public Safety – Addiction and Mental Health Services in Provincial Adult Correctional Institutions

Chapter 4 – Auditor General Concerns: New Brunswick’s Fiscal Decline Continues

Chapter 5 – Auditor General’s Office – AG’s Independence Eroded Due to Lack of Resources

As Auditor General Kim MacPherson presents highlights of the report to members of the public accounts and Crown corporations committee, starting at 10 a.m. on June 12, a live webcast will be available online.

In addition to the report, the PowerPoint presentation to be delivered to members of the committees and one-page summaries for all chapters except Chapter 1 will also be on the auditor general’s website around 10 a.m.
